- Coppell History Talks - Saturday, June 8th at 1 p.m. at Cozby Library <-----
The Assistant Vice President of Customer Programs & Customer Experience at DFW International Airport, Ms. Megan Bozarth, will give a presentation on the history of the DFW International Airport as it celebrates its 50th year in operation. The building of DFW International Airport had a direct impact on the dramatic growth in Coppell's population. Coppell's second mayor from 1960 to 1971 was W.T (Bill) Cozby. The library was named after him for his many accomplishments which included getting the airport located just south of Coppell. Come and listen to this very interesting presentation in the first of our quarterly Coppell History Talks program.
