DID YOU KNOW?
Coppell's first brick house
Today, most houses in Coppell are made of brick or stone. But did you know that in 1865, Washington C. Bullock built a brick house here on the northwest corner of what is now Denton Tap and Bethel School roads? It was not only the first brick house in Coppell but was said to be the first one in Dallas County!
The Coppell Historical Society knows about the Bullock house and the Bullock family’s role in Coppell’s history. Find out more here.
