Celebrate Independence Day at Heritage Park

The Coppell Historical Museum will celebrate Independence Day at Coppell Heritage Park. The Park will be decorated to commemorate this important day in American History. Museum visitors will be greeted with outdoor games, snow cones, prizes, and each child will receive an American Flag. At 11:30AM, visitors will be introduced to the meaning of Independence Day, followed by the singing of our National Anthem, a presentation of the American Flag, followed by a reading of the Declaration of Independence. Families can visit the Minyard’s Store, Kirkland House, Wilson House and Ihnfeldt House to learn more about Coppell history. The Minyard’s Store will be open for shopping. Children can participate in the Junior Historian Program to learn about the museums and earn a Junior Historian badge.
