HISTORY OF COPPELL, ONTARIO
There are two cities named Coppell which are separated by over 1,600 miles. There first was named in 1892 after George Coppell who was a railroad investor. That town was named Coppell, Texas. In 1914, the second town with the same name was named after Herbert Coppell who was George Coppell's son. He worked in his father's banking firm.
