Field is also called Cowboy Stadium. He led the school district for thirteen years and oversaw major increases in enrollment, campus expansions, and the growth and success of the Coppell High Schools athletic program.

Buddy Echols served as Superintendent from 1989–2002. He is flanked by Superintendents: Jeff Turner (2002-2014), Mike Waldrip (2014-2017), Brad Hunt (2017-2025), Leanne Shivers (2025-present) and Coppell High School
